INSIDE: How to host a Valentine’s Day card making party for kids at home.
To me, Valentine’s Day is very much like Thanksgiving. It’s a simple holiday that has one main focus. For Valentine’s Day that focus is love …and friendship and kindness and, least but not ever last, chocolate! Teach the kids the gift of friendship with a DIY Valentine’s Day card making party at home.
Set out the Valentine’s Day card making basics: stickers, crayons and blank cards and let their Valentine’s creativity shine!

Set the card making table with clear areas for pencils and crayons, stickers and fun Valentine’s Day treats, like mini stamper sets. I used clear plastic candy buckets to hold all these various card making supplies. The boxes were made more festive with Valentine’s ribbons.
Encourage the kids to get crafty and creative with blank cards (and envelopes) and many, many assorted heart stickers!
Create personalized Valentine’s gift boxes for friends using red treat boxes and glitter letter stickers. Enclose a Valentine’s Day card and fun treat, like mini stampers.
A Valentine’s Day card making party…at home… is the perfect excuse to get together with friends while keeping the kids entertained and busy as they give the gift of friendship, kindness and creativity this Valentine’s Day!
